SwissGear Maxxum Blue Notebook Backpack by Wenger and Everything You Have to Know about It

There are a lot of backpacks available for different purposes, but laptop backpacks need to have more than just the usual features of most bags. Laptop and notebook backpacks need extra space, added durability, and special features that fit perfectly for your gadgets. I have the SwissGear Maxxum Blue Notebook Backpack by Wenger and I have to say, it hails high commendation because of its excellent features. To understand more about this bag, let me expound on the subject.

Design

This nicely designed bag has all the features you need to carry your laptop and other essential belongings for everyday’s work. The laptop case has a padded compartment with a safety strap that keeps the laptop in place and protected from other forces, especially from falls. The compartment can accommodate up to 15.4’’ laptops snugly. The laptop compartment is the one found at the backmost side of the bag, where it’s easier to open while facing the shoulder straps, so the bag acts like a double-sided carrier. Apart from the laptop, you can fit paperwork and documents in that compartment, and it also has a small pocket for keeping small items like USB flash drives and firewires.

The other two compartments are designed to carry various items. The second compartment found in the middle of the bag carries mostly the thicker items like textbooks, notebook, and other important files. The compartment at the front of the bag is smaller and you can keep other office supplies there like pens and stuff. At either side of the bag are water bottle holders where you can keep your drinks, eliminating the need to stuff bottle in the bag as well and risking your stuff getting wet.

The bag is quite bulky, with a weight of 3.7 pounds and the dimensions of 14.2’’ x 11’’ x 18.9’’, but it’s perfectly designed to be able to carry all your stuff. It’s extremely durable and very resistant to weathering, and its bottom has a strong material which can resist wear at the most abused part. The bag has a lot of straps which allows you to expand and contract the bag as you wish, depending on the amount of luggage it carries.

Color

This bag has a nice black body with accents of blue faces and a light gray area at the middle. There are other blue accents at the side and straps of the bag, which is a very good feature for people out there with blue as their favorite color. Dust and stains are not very obvious on this bag because of the black body, but on the blues and grays, it might show. It’s pretty much a unisexual color because a lot of females also like blue, and the bag has no particular accents that suggest otherwise. The blue makes the bag more striking, and even more preferable than other plain black or lightly colored rivals.

Other Features

The bag has complete accessories when it comes to travelling. It has an earphone outlet so you can listen to your favorite tunes even while travelling or walking. Its shoulder straps can effectively distribute weight so even if the bug is bulky, it’s not so heavy to carry. The bag also has an airflow back design that keeps your back cool even if you’ve been wearing the bag all day. All of its features are functional and useful for those who love to travel, bring their laptops to different places, or even for people who work or go to school every day with their laptops.

Conclusion

I wouldn’t be surprised if at the end of this review, you’d be totally decided to get this bag. The SwissGear Maxxum Blue Notebook Backpack by Wenger has not received any negative feedback regarding its functionality and durability. You’ll definitely love this bag, like I do, and if you take care of it, it can last for a very long while. And for its price, I don’t think you’d ever find a bargain so rewarding as this one.
